A terracotta model of a terrier dog, probably Austrian, late 19th Century, modelled seated on its hind legs, wearing a bonnet and smoking a cigar, inset with glass eyes, impressed factory marks to base, height approx 29cm (minor faults), together with a similar tobacco jar in the form of a portrait bust of a sailor smoking a pipe.

A very rare moulded pearlware Tankard, probably 1822, the portrait of George IV wearing military style uniform above a banner impressed 'King George IIII' between flowers, all carefully picked out in enamels reserved on a pink lustre ground, 13.4cm This large mug may well be Scottish and commemorating the visit of George to Scotland, much against his courtiers' advice. He devised his own uniform to the horror of his advisers, but to the delight of his Scottish people. CONDITION REPORT: Restored to the left side of the bust George IV, the lustre has been touched up which is visible to the rim and sprayed to the inside, which runs to the base of the tankard
