A spectacular, 18 ct yellow gold and gem-set, carved bust brooch, the yellow gold stylised bow brooch fitting suspended by a carved gentleman's (Turk's head) face, gold mounted in the form of an ornate hat and collar and shoulders all studded with round, faceted, rubies and emeralds. Brooch: 6.5 cm, Bust: 3.5 x 2.2 cm, Weight: 27.1 g.
Cunard interest; a Cheverton ivory miniature bust of David MacIver, on marbled column and circular base, the bust inscribed 'Fillans Fec't' and 'Cheverton Sc.', overall 8in (20.25cm) high. Note: David MacIver, 1840 - 1907, was an English steam ship owner and politician. From 1863 he was a partner in the firm of D and C MacIver who were managing owners of Cunard. He was chairman of the Liverpool Steamship Owners Association and President of the American Chamber of Commerce. He was also a director of the Great Western Railway.

RHODES 1877 and impressed COPELAND , 38cm high; with an associated green serpentine marble base Note: Sir Titus Salt, 1st Baronet, textile manufacturer, philanthropist and politician born in Morley, Leeds 1803. Built Salt's Mill and the model village of Saltaire. Briefly MP for Bradford in 1848. At his funeral in 1876, it is said that over a hundred thousand people lined the route. The bust is based on the full length statue of Salt by Adams Acton in Roberts Park, Saltaire, Bradford.
