The deceased's father was the Head of Geriatrics at Whitehaven Hospital for which Fiore De Heneriquez undertook a commission to produce a bust for the Hospital Trust. The vendor has also provided but not include with the sale an exhibition catalogue for the artist dated 11-27 November 1975 at the Centro D'art La Barcaccia which highlights the sculptures in the same style as the one on offer.
