A large 19th century composite stone garden urn cast in three sections, the urn with acanthus leaf moulding beneath the rim and scrolled acanthus mounts to the sides, decorated in relief with a bust of Queen Victoria, rose bushes and the Royal Shield, with remains of original painted decoration, mounted on a square plinth with inverted urn shaped column with laurel leaf edging and a laurel wreath to the front of the base, 74in (188cm) high x 30in (76cm) wide.
A Sunderland lustre plaque, 1820's, monochrome printed with a bust portrait of 'The Revd John Wesley A.M.' in profile and inscribed 'The Best of All God is With Us', cornered with pink scallop shells, a mottled pink border and a ropetwist frame, length approx 22.3cm, together with a Dixon Phillips & Co lustre plaque, circa 1840-65, monochrome printed with 'Adam Clarke L.L.D.F.S.A. Wesleyan Minister', within a mottled pink border and copper relief moulded frame, impressed factory mark to reverse, length approx 22cm.

A sculpted white marble bust of a maiden, dated 1865, by Emma Stebbins (American, 1815-1882), with flowers in her hair, on a waisted socle, signed and inscribed ‘Rome 1865’, 42cm high Emma Stebbins was at the centre of what Henry James called the ‘White Marmorean Flock’, a group of largely lesbian American sculptors who settled in Rome in the mid-19th century.
A pair of Sevres-style claret-ground two-handled pedestal urns, 20th century, with two stylized swan handles and each painted with an oval bust portrait panel with Marshals of France, M.al Lannes and M.al Soult, within an elaborate gilt border and beneath Imperial eagles, 29cm high (one with repaired foot) Note: Marshal Lannes (1769 -1809), Duc de Montebello, Prince de Sievers, joined the L’armee d’Italie in 1796 as a humble volunteer and rose to be a Marshal of France under the First Empire, dying in action at the battle of Aspern-Essling. Marshal Soult (1769-1851), Duc de Dalmatie, similarly joined the ranks in 1785 rising to Marshal in 1804. Although principally remembered as the French commander in the Peninsular War, he was also Prime Minister of France three times.

The first reviews appeared in the USA in March 1885, and this copy is inscribed and dated by its first owner in early April 1885, making it one of the earliest inscribed copies to appear at auction.
