A circa 1920's silk dress with machine embroidered floral bouquets, red edging and lace sleeves, approx. 80 cm bust, 118 cm long CONDITION REPORTS The lace sections to the arms / shoulders are very discoloured and very broken. The bust is approx 32" and the waist is approx 30". There are some rips to the silk throughout as well as overall discolouration and staining. The pink trim is coming away and damaged and the lining to the "pocket" area is rotten and torn. Some of the applied design is coming off in various areas. A Callot Soeurs 1910-1920's gold lamé evening gown in silk lurex with gold threads and all-over floral design in bi-coloured silk tulle and gold braid, with remains of label to interior, approx. 78 cm bust, with side train CONDITION REPORTS The gold coloured braiding has come loose from the garment and needs re-attaching. There are a couple of small areas which have come undone. Discolouration and staining mainly visible to the arm/shoulders. The lining is ripped and discoloured. The Callot Soeurs label is only the middle section. There is a hole at the bottom corner of one section. There is a rip at the base of the hooks on the back. There appears to be a section of lace missing from the back at the top. Areas of beading are missing, especially noticeable on the bust edge. The corsetry boning is coming out of the silk covers. There appears to be a section of diamante decoration missing from the top right hand shoulder area. Areas of discolouration and staining throughout. Evidence of moth pupae. There appears to be a later applied additional tassel added to the shoulder. The lining is heavily ripped and basically destroyed, including the lace work although the buttons are intact. Bust size approx 36" however due to the damage may be different. Visible signs of moth. The skirt waist is approx 23". Skirt also has evidence of old moth and pupae marks. A Summer 1919 Callot Soeurs two-piece day dress, the top of silk and silk tulle with silk satin trim, the top bearing dated label to the interior, approx. 62 cm at waist, together with a silk crepe overshirt with crewel wool embroidery to the cuffs, waist and decorative panels variously, approx. 52 cm under arm to under arm, base of collar to hem approx. 104 cm and a circa 1900 silk chiffon under skirt with applied floral sprays, bugle beads and lace, waist approx. 68 cm, approx. 77 cm long CONDITION REPORTS The Callot Soeurs two piece- the top has significant holes to the lace and signs of moth and discolouration to the satin. The interior is badly discoloured and with holes throughout. Signs of moth. Bust size is approx 32". The skirt is more hole than skirt. The waist of the skirt is approx 24". The woollen crepe dress has a considerable amount of holes and damage, discolouration throughout and big holes underneath the arms. The chiffon skirt appears to be missing a central floral applied decoration to the front panel. There is considerable loose stitching to the central line on the skirt. Small areas of discolouration and small holes throughout. Waist size is approx 28". It looks as though the skirt has been altered with the stitching to the centre of the skirt. There are some snags in the tulle and signs and moth mainly to the black lace drapes. The waist is approx. 25 inches and the bust is approx. 26 inches. A 19th Century commemorative gilt brass tondo for Admiral Lord Nelson after Peter Wyon circa 1806, the left facing bust inscribed Admiral Lord Nelson, initialled under shoulder "P.W.F." (Peter Wyon fecit) with oak leaf and acorn border within an ebonised circular frame with convex glass 16.5 cm diameter together with another embossed card tondo for the Duke of Wellington, the left facing portrait bust within an inscription "Wellington Generalissime" CONDITION REPORTS The gilt brass tondo - has some light surface scratching and some areas of pitting. The frame itself has been broken and repaired and some of the lacquer/ebonisation is flaking and there are a couple of chips. The embossed card is discoloured to the centre and there is a white powdery look to some of the highlights. The frame itself has a few knocks and bashes. The paper on the back has been cut as if it has previously been taken out of the frame. Both are in need of a good clean throughout. A 1920's Callot Soeurs gold silk lamé dress with silk net pleated sleeves and train, bears label to the interior CONDITION REPORTS The waist is approx. 28 inches and the bust is approx. 30 inches. The train on the back is slightly odd, unknown if this is done during manufacture, as in the panels are vertical rather than it being a horizontal strip. The black lace around the bust area is held on by one thread and has several larger holes, some discolouration to the tulle. There is some damage to the underarms and some pilling to the very end of the train.
