JAMES POWELL WHITEFRIARS; a large commemorative goblet for King George V and Queen Mary, the cut bowl set with three oval vignettes set with an engraved profile bust of the king and queen, the initials DM beneath a crown with the dates 1910-1935 above a cut stem and petal foot base, height 23.3cm. CONDITION REPORT: Appears good with no obvious signs of faults, damage or restoration.
JB DELEROY; a 19th century oval miniature portrait on ivory depicting a bust of a young woman in gold pearl and gemstone tiara and matching necklace, signed middle right, 7 x 6.5cm, in cast metal floral decorated frame surmounted by a seated cherubic figure, marked "BF12". CONDITION REPORT: Slightly warped ivory , dust and dirt residue beneath glass and loose in frame.
A quantity of Star Wars Calendars, including the 1997 Star Wars 20th Anniversary, 2000 and 2000 Episode 1 Calendars, still shrink wrapped although outer wraps are split in places and the 1997 calendar appears to have been somewhat affected by damp when in storage. Ten Star Wars 'Bust-Ups' , with figures still bagged, some Star Wars audio cassettes, badges, patches and key rings are also included in this lot.
Royal Navy Submarine Service Long Service & Good Conduct Medal. A George V Admiral bust example awarded to “J17723 J.S. EDDON PO HMS VERNON” Polished to highpoints. Petty Officer James Stevens Eddon joined the Royal Navy as a Boy in 1913. He served onboard various ships including HMS Queen Mary, HMS Glasgow, before volunteering for submarine service in 1918. He served onboard Submarines C17 before the end of the war. Remaining with the RN he served onboard H48, L2, L33. L5. He transferred to the reverse in 1929.
An early 20th Century gold mounted Limoges enamelled pendant, the circular Limoges panel decorated with a head and shoulders portrait bust of a young lady against a ruby red ground, inscribed 'L. Clément, Limoges' to reverse, within a gold heart shaped surround with beaded decoration, length approx 2.8cm.
