Early 19th century French School, A bust portrait of a young man, oval, oil on canvas laid on board, in gilt frame, 54 x 44cmCondition report: The work has been later laid onto board and presumably restored at the same point. There is overpainting particularly noticeable around the face. A small area of paint loss is visible around his collar, a tiny paint chip also among his hair. The frame has been re-painted gold.
