A fine flintlock gun of royal property, dating: second quarter of the 18th Century, provenance: Bavaria, dating: second quarter of the 18th Century, provenance: Bavaria, Beautiful, Turkish, round, smooth, 20 mm cal. barrel, in fine damask, with rib, base chiselled and finely decorated with silver voter crown held by two little angels over a noble figure with hounds and a battle between them and a wild boar, silver front sight; engraved tang; flintlock, round lock plate with 'CA' monogram under the voter crown, tang finely chiselled with a mask on a golden background, cock decorated with partially gilded floral motifs. Wooden, full stock slightly embossed with gilded brass mounts, counter-plate pierced with a chariot pulled by two lions, trigger guard with a bust featuring a Roman type helmet, butt-plate with a noble figure on horseback. Horn and bone-tipped, wooden ramrod with iron cartridge extractor., length 132 cm.
