Height 18 in., Width 7 _ in., Depth 6 in. Fair to Good condition. Some replaced areas to marble, also some areas repaired. Marble slightly soiled and discolored. After Lecomte, a carved marble bust of Marie Antoinette, on a socle base, 43 cm high Condition report Report by NG Surface pitted, not smooth. A couple of imperfections creating holes, notably on chest to front and on back of right shoulder. Other black mark imperfections. Chip to her right eye lid and chips to end of her nose, also chips to edge of her cameo style pendant. Type label applied to reverse, but no carved signature.

Marcello Andrea Baccetti (Italian, 1850-1903), "Bust of Levi Parsons Morton (1825-1920)", marble, inscribed "A. Bacc..." on reverse, height 30 in. Provenance: The Price Collier Collection, Tuxedo Park, NY. Note: Morton was Ambassador to France (1881-85), Governor of New York (1895-96) and U.S. Vice-President in the administration of Benjamin Harrison (1889-1893). He was a close friend of Price Collier, with whom he attended many society functions in Tuxedo Park and elsewhere in New York State.
