DAVID WYNNE O.B.E (1926-2014) (ARR) A bronze bust of the race horse Shergar, set on a marble block plinth. Signed and numbered four of eight and dated '81. The sculpture was commissioned by the horses owner Aga Khan after the Derby win. This edition was given to the main stable lad who looked after the horse at Michael Stouts yard. 32cm high x 31cm deep x 10cm wide.

Alexander M'Kenzie according to the catalogue Industrial Index for the 1873 exhibition was based at 5, Little Windmill Street, Haymarket, London. 1874 catalogue lists No 4325 listed as LEWIS, A. This particular bust is much rarer than the more commonly found, smaller, example sculpted by W C Lawton.

Hutly, Coggeshall", the engraved brass square face with ornate brass spandrels, a seconds dial and calendar aperture, with 8-day movement; the lavishly-carved walnut case of much later date, with broken swan neck pediment, acanthus carved frieze, ribbon spiralled columns and carved door to the hood, the long trunk door carved with an angel over a hand-shake, the bust of a Grecian lady to the base, raised on bracket feet. 250.5cm tall.
