A silver denarius, obverse with laureate bust r. Reverse DIVVS IVLIVS' divided by an eight rayed comet. 2.64g. The comet represents the 'Julian Star' that appeared shortly after the assassination of Julius Caesarin 44 B.C. *CR A nice clear example but with degradation to both sides. Otho ceased the throne on the 15th January AD 69 and took his own life following a heavy defeat on the 17th April, a reign of only 13 weeks. *CR A nice clear example but with rubbing to both sides. With ticket.
