A bronzed plaster bust study of the Duke of Wellington inscribed to the plaque below "Orpheus London" (approx. life size) CONDITION REPORTS Numerous surface scratches and scuffs, some knocks to the plaster mainly around the bottom of his cloak. Small areas of loss to the bronzing around the forehead and other minor losses to the bronzing all over. Item has general wear and tear commensurate with age and use - see photos for more details. RODIN AUGUSTE: (1840-1917) French Sculptor. A good vintage signed postcard photograph of Rodin's bust Bellone in the Museum of Luxembourg. Signed ('Rodin') in bold black fountain pen ink with his name alone to a clear area at the centre of the image. Some light scuffing to the image and two slight traces of former mounting to the upper and lower edges, not affecting the signature. One very slight ink blot to one letter of Rodin's signature.
