John Lennon-style bust by Dodo Design, 1960s A wonderful handpainted papier maché bust, if not intended to be most certainly based on, John Lennon. The base bears the painted makers details Irenie Dodo Design Made In England. Dodo Design was a company based in Covent Garden most famous for commissioning Peter Blake to produce the iconic Babe Rainbow tinplate poster in 1968. The bust additionally has a scarf tied about the neck designed by Chester Martin, London.
