A German Porcelain Portrait Plaque, circa 1870, rectangular, painted with the profile bust portrait of a young woman with blue eyes and long brown hair, wearing medieval costume and embroidered head piece, impressed numerals "383", old paper inscribed "1066", also written on the back the names of the numerous owners of this plaque, beginning with "Thomas Joseph Walker 1882-1950", 29.5cm by 22cm, in a foliate pierced brass frame

A late 19th century French porcelain mounted gilt metal eight-day mantel clock, the bell-striking movement with powder blue ground Roman numeral cartouche porcelain dial, in arch pedimented case with foliate cast crest centred with a bust of Shakespeare over waisted panel front flanked by female figures emblematic of his work, on three-section porcelain mounted foliate scroll mounted base with scroll feet, 50cm high.
A French ormolu eight-day mantel clock in the Greek Revival taste, circa 1880, the bell-striking movement with rosette centred gilt Roman numeral dial, in cylindrical plinth form case with young girl and lovebird bust surmount over lion mask mounted foliate pierced side scrolls and leafy bezel, on black and red marble shaped canted base with stylised paw feet, 47cm high.
A marble bust of Brian Hubert Hill (1847-1893), late 19th century, on a rectangular plinth incised on reverse 'Gaffin Sc.Lon', 23" high. Brian Hubert Hill was a Land Agent. His early death was the result of a hunting accident and he is buried in the church at Weston under Redcastle. The west window was given in memory of him. His widow had the bust made from his death mask. The sculptor Thomas Gaffin, son of Edward Gaffin, worked with his father at their workshop in Regent Street where they were renowned for their prolific production of monuments and memorial tablets, running into thousands. Works by the Gaffin firm include Lord Clyde at Westminster Abbey, 1863 and Sir Thomas Reade Congleton, Cheshire 1849
