An Art Nouveau Goldscheider cold-painted terracotta bust of Cleo De Merod, signed Montenave, applied with foil backed glass cabochons, stamped Goldscheider, incised modellers name.Cleo De Merod was a famous dancer of the day and was the mistress of King of Belgium. 67cm high**CONDITION REPORT**Occasional minor wear and flaking to the cold painted decoration around the edges of her shoulders and the edges of the socle. The central cabochon below her neck is inset into composition which has a shrunk and flaked slightly. Württemberg - Wilhelm I. (1816-1864), Seltene tragbare vergoldete Medaille o.J., so genannte "Senatorenmedaille" der Landwirtschaftlichen Hochschule Hohenheim. Av: Büste König Wilhelms n. links / Rv: Ansicht des Hohenheimer Schlosses. Ca. 34,2 mm, 21,8 g rau. Wohl geprägt seit 1927 bis in die 1950er Jahre. Zwar gibt es nur wenige Exemplare, dieses jedoch ist ohne Öse und mit deutlicher Henkelspur, Randfehlern und noch im Zustand ss angeboten. Interessant ist, dass man den alten Originalstempel für die Kleine Verdienstmedaille für Kunst und Wissenschaft hier mit einem neu geschnittenen Reversstempel kombiniert hat.| Württemberg - Wilhelm I. Approx. 34.2mm, 21.8g rough. Probably minted since 1927 until the 1950s. Although there are only a few examples, this one is offered without an eyelet and with a clear trace of the handle, edge defects and is still in VF condition. It is interesting that the old original stamp for the Small Medal of Merit for Art and Science has been combined here with a newly cut reverse stamp.
