T E LAWRENCE; an early 20th century one-piece hand carved oak portrait bust depicting Lawrence of Arabia wearing desert headdress, on square base, brass plaque to the front inscribed 'T. E. Lawrence by Wilfred Holroyd', height 32cm, base 19 x 19cm.Provenance: The vendor's grandfather who was a carpenter by trade carved this portrait bust for a competition held in Blackpool c1920s. CONDITION REPORT In good condition, a few knocks to the thin edges of the wood, but the patina is good. Has not been cleaned, so there is a build-up of dirt in some areas.
