The sculpture also makes an appearance in the artists' 1982-1983 painting Natasha with Bust of Stalin (part of a series heavily influenced by the Stalinist Empire style and the aesthetics of Georges de La Tour), which pictures a nude woman seated in the dark, as if in prayer, holding up a candlestick to illuminate Stalin's features. CONDITIONBeyond some surface dirt and a nick to the center of the right cheek, the sculpture appears in excellent original condition with no issues to report. N.B. AMENDED DESCRIPTION Small African bust signed with initials F.T.H Africa 1936, 8cnm high, miniature coracle, miniature guitar, mother of pearl veneered card case, faux tortoiseshell box, and a small quantity of coins from circulation including Serbia 1 dinar 1915, South Africa half crowns 1894 and 1896, British silver threepences, China silver 2 chiao/jiao of Yuan Shikai ca. 1920 and a little other foreign silver.
