Rare R.A.F Benevolent Fund Victory Bell cast from metal salvaged from German Aircraft shot down over Britain from 1939 to 1945, cast busts of Winston Churchill, Franklin Roosevelt and Joseph Stalin, with a small cast brass dish that also has the bust of Winston Churchill on it and the V for victory sign (which also looks to be made from salvaged metal).

dating: Early 19th Century provenance: France, Double-edged blade of hexagonal section decorated with golden engravings on blue background with trophies and floral motifs for over two third of the entire length. Gilded brass hilt richly ornated in high and bas-relief with a trophy among oak and bay leaves on shell-guard, lion's head in the middle of the loop-guard, an earlier warrior's bust under the pommel decorated with floral motifs, general's star on the opposite side. Grooved, mother-of-pearl grip scales, horizontally cracked at the rear. Leather scabbard with brass mounts, gilded and decorated with floral motifs. Rare. length 89 cm.
dating: 17th Century provenance: Italy, Made of richly carved and pierced iron, the arches with a bust at the center, surrounded by intertwined snakes, mystic animals and surmounted by a mask. An antique restoration at the inside with a support. Large, rectangular tread covered with leather. The upper part with a hole for the strap, covered with a carved face in high-relief. Rare. height 16.5 cm.
dating: 19th Century provenance: Europe, The smallest one representing a soldier, probably French from the 18th century. Oval and under glass, frame decorated with small beads (missing parts), behind another glass that includes a lock of hair. Another smaller one that apparently representing the same subject. The last one is an oval-shaped miniature in porcelain with the bust of a young Austrian soldier, probably royal. The golden brooch is engraved with floral motifs. dimensions 2.2 x 2.7 - 3 x 3.5 - 3.2 x 4.7 cm.
dating: 18th Century provenance: Tuscan-Emilian area, Smoothbore, octagonal, 12 mm cal barrel, with small engravings at the base and at the nozzle and decorated with outlines. Tang engraved with a small frame. Lock with flat plate with oblique borders and engraved with grotesque. Working mechanism. Wooden full stock with brass mounts. Butt-plate with a relieved, iron cameo and floral engravings, a cameo also on the trigger guard made of brass. The counter-plate with a female bust engraved among grotesques. Horn ramrod with iron cartridge extractor. length 18,5 cm.
dating: about 1730 provenance: Paris, Smooth-bore, round, 13.3 mm cal. barrels, with square base in gilded bronze, with stamps of gunsmith Daniel Thiermay (Der Neue Stöckel 1085 and 5971), first part finely engraved with floral motifs, partially in bass-relief followed by a rib with long fore-sight among geometrical engravings. Engraved tangs and with sight. Very elegant locks with gilded bronze plate, finely engraved with floral motifs and with a bird's head. Iron cock (engraved with floral motifs), spring and batterie. Walnut, full stocks, finely embossed with finest, gilded bronze mounts, counter-plates pierced with busts and masks among the rinceaux, trigger-guards with bust, butt-plates with a big mask among the busts and floral motifs. Back with escutcheon with a crowned bust. Rear tang of trigger-guards marked with inventory number 'N. 5 R 20'. of the collection of Hessen-Darmstadt Dukes. These splendid pistols probably come from the Kranichstein hunting lodge which lived its most worldly existence during the reigns of Ernst Ludwig (1667-1739, reign 1678-39) and his son Ludwig VIII (1691-1768, reign 1739-1768).
