A late 19th century Memorial Portrait Miniature, depicting Theodor Goldstuker, in a yellow metal locket frame with brooch pin and suspension loop, inscribed to reverse Theodor Goldstucker Sanskrittist Gestorben 6th March 1872. The Subject painted in oils is bust length, face on wearing a mourning suite, 5.5cm by 4.8cm. Note: Theodor Goldstucker (1821-1872) was a student and later Professor of Sanskrit at University College London. He was also an Indian Philosopher.
