It is hard to explain the legend currui (Latin dative for a ‘wagon’) and similar legends on the Tomasini group C tremisses. It does not look like a personal name, but does belong to the final group just before the introduction of the regal series of similar style in Toledo in about 580 in the name of Leovigild, cf. MEC 209.
