Bello, A. A. S. PAUL KRUGER CERAMIC MEDALLION Portugal: Galdas, circa 1900 First edition. Bust of Paul Kruger with hole at 12 o'clock through which a suspending cord could be threaded. Manufacturer's details impressed into the clay of the reverse of the medallion. Of highest rarity because of the material of the medallion, few survived.
A 1940'S WOOL KASHMIRI CHAIN STITCHED FORMAL HOUSE-COAT Straight out of the Raj, this wonderful full skirted wool house coat would have been worn in the winter by a diplomat's wife living up in the Himalayas. The coat has been tailored beautifully with leaves of soft Autumn colours, hand embroidered in wool chain stitch on a cream wool ground. The coat is lined in heavy cotton, giving plenty of warmth. The original embroidered buttons fasten at the neck with pretty loops. The long sleeves are fitted and lined. Bust 34". Tiny hole at waist, missing two buttons. (1)
A RARE VINTAGE ROYAL BALLET BODICE This beautifully tailored bodice was bought from a sale at the Royal Ballet, London convent Garden. The balloon sleeves are made from cream satin and pale green crepe de chine. This costume is so light it floats and with the weight of the fine gold embroidery embellished with pearls and sequins on the wings, one can imagine it was worn by a magical dancer. Bust 26". A 1930'S LACE EVENING DRESS WITH BOLERO JACKET A fabulous black and white floral lace evening gown. Machined cotton lace with a vintage weight, inserts of white floral lace, shaping the dress to fit the body. A plunge back line with satin piping falling to a full skirt of folds. Lined in black silky rayon. There is a nice stretch to the fabric. (Not stretched) Bust 34" x waist 32". The bolero jacket is unlined with flared sleeves and satin piping down the front. A 1930'S FLORAL CHIFFON TEA DRESS A beautiful shabby chic chiffon floral dress from the 1930's. The black chiffon has a classic pink, yellow and green floral print with diamond cut sections to create the pretty folds from the waist. The dress is lined in heavy silk, giving the chiffon plenty of weight. the bolero is unlined, has long sleeves with cuffs, no buttons, ties at the front and the front fabric is damaged. Bust 30" Waist 34". (2) The dress is in good condition slightly frayed at the seems, easily sorted.
A CIRCA 1890'S SILK BUSTLE DRESS Splendid height of the fashion mauve coloured water silk bodice with lace detail on wide bell shaped sleeves. Peplum pleated waist, original buttons, boned bodice with inner fastening belt. 34" Bust x 24" Waist. The full skirt with double flounces of lace and bows, fastened at the back with an extension of fabric, possibly the original owner was in her confinement. there is a little pocket, hidden. The skirt has a hidden pocket and is lined in silk gauze, hand stitched throughout. Good condition (2)
AN 1870'S VICTORIAN BUSTLE COSTUME Two piece heavy silk bustle dress, with a beautifully tailored hand stitched jacket. Fastened at the front with 13 original woven buttons, Sleeves cut to the curve of the arm and finished with cuffs and 5 buttons. The skirt has bands of pleats and bustled at the back. Bust 34" x Waist 26". Good condition (2)
A CIRCA 1900'S COTTON DAY SKIRT AND BODICE A pretty early Edwardian two piece costume. the bodice is made from soft cotton with polka dots, lined, fastened at the front with hooks and eye and lace edged jabard. The skirt is fastened at the waist with hook and eyes, ruffle around the hem. Bust 36" x 30" waist. (2)
A VICTORIAN BLACK SATIN BUSTLE DRESS Both the bodice and the skirt is embroidered with flowers. The bodice is boned with cut to the elbow long sleeves, embellished from the shoulders, round the hemline and the cuffs with glass beads. Fastened down the front with hooks (the eyes missing). The skirt is fastened at the back with hook and eye. And an underskirt. Bust 33" x Waist 27". (3)

Bust 36" x Length 42" (Areas of missing beadwork). With a black swan down stole 60" x 8" wide. A further dropped waisted silk dress with lace around the neckline. Bust 36" x 52". (3)
TWO VINTAGE SATIN TEA GOWNS WITH BLOUSE A white satin gown with empire line, pretty scooped back and fastened at the side with poppers. Bust 32" x Length 55". A further white satin empire line, scooped back soutache embroidery with small pearls, fastened at the side with metal zip. Bust 32". A further satin blouse with inset lace fastened at the back with original buttons. Bust 38" x Length 16". (3)
TWO BEAUTIFUL 1930'S SILK NIGHT GOWNS An exquisite Chinese damask silk gown with embroidered crepe de chine scalloped down the centre of the gown. The triangular cut out edge has been piped with stitched silk. The two sides brought together with a small button and toggle held in place with coiled silk detail. Bust 30" (tiny mark). A further moss crepe silk night dress with a collar and hem of cutwork and embroidery. Cut on the bias with diagonal panels and seams. Bust 34" x Length 58". Good condition. (2)
A 1930'S COUTURE DRESS & WOOL COAT ENSEMBLE A crimson crepe silk floral dress, beautifully fitted, cut on the bias with high waist, v neck with jabot fastened across the neck with hook and eye. Two high shirred pockets. Fastened at the waist with poppers. Embellished at the hem with leaves of fabric. Bust 34" x Waist 26". Good condition. The coat is made from black crepe wool with an open cape top. Fitted sleeves to a vent at the cuff and faceted glass button. The front of the coat is fastened from the waist with three faceted glass buttons, two side pockets and lined fully with matching floral crepe silk. Waist 26" (two small holes)(2)
TWO 1930'S CHIFFON TEA DRESSES A black sheer crepe, horizontally pin-tucked down the body to a drop waist line. The back is scooped falling to a small fishtail of ruffles. There is a double layer of fabric from the waist, fastened at the side with poppers, hook and eyes. Bust 36" x 28" Waist. A further black and red art deco print dress has short sleeves with bow detail. A ruffled hem, no fastenings. Bust 38" x 29" Waist Good condition (2)
A 1930'S COUTURE SILK HOUSECOAT & DRESSING GOWN An extremely elegant and feminine soft silk floral housecoat. The dress coat fastens at the waist inside with a tie and on the outside with four original buttons. The skirt is full circle and falls in folds from the hips, open at the front. Bust 38" x 52" length. Good condition. A further pretty floral silk dressing gown with tie belt. (Damage on front). (2)
