An arrow mintmark precedes a legend that reads 'HENRIC x VIII xx D xx G xx R 'x AGL x Z x FRANCE +'. Reverse: long cross fourchée with crosses in the terminals and shield of royal arms within a circle, 'POSVI DEV 'xx A DIVTORE 'xx MEV' around. Weight: 2.48g. Diameter: 25.2mm. Grade: gF - good Fine details, some minor creasing and some small environmental scrapes.
1553-1554 Queen Mary I hammered silver Groat with pomegranate mintmark (S 2492, North 1960). Obverse: crowned bust facing left with long flowing hair, 'MARIA [mintmark] D G ANG FRA Z HIB REGINA' around. Reverse: shield of royal arms quartered by a long cross fourchée with 'VERITAS [mintmark] TEMPORIS FILIA'. Weight: 1.90g. Diameter: 23.4mm. Grade: VF - Very Fine a historic crease does not detract from great details and attractive blue toning, particularly to the reverse.

Reverse: crowned shield of royal arms surrounded by a wreath of olive branches, 'BRITANNIARUM REGINA FID: DEF:' around with tiny 'M' branch mint mintmark to the base of the wreath. Edge: milled. Weight: 8.00g. Diameter: 22.05mm. Mintage: 1,373,000. Grade: VF - minor contact lines and hairlines under magnification, Very Fine.
1882 Top Pop Queen Victoria Heaton Mint bronze Farthing graded MS 65 RD by NGC (S 3959). Obverse: 'Bun Head' bust by Leonard Charles Wyon, facing left with 'VICTORIA D: G: BRITT: REG: F: D:' around. Reverse: 'FARTHING' above seated Britannia with a trident, shield, lighthouse and ship, the year (1882) below and beneath that a tiny 'H' for the Heaton and Sons. Edge: plain. Diameter: 20mm. Mintage: 1,792,000. Grade: MS 65 RD shared top of the NGC population. Sealed in an NGC holder with a standard brown label (#2910695-012). This Farthing was produced by Heaton and Sons, a firm later known as the Birmingham Mint. Ralph Heaton II founded this prolific privately owned mint struck coinage for various territories across the expanding British Empire, initially using coining equipment purchased from Matthew Boulton's defunct Soho Mint. From 1874, the Royal Mint, experiencing high demand, outsourced the minting of domestic copper coinage, including Pennies, Halfpennies and Farthings to Heaton. These coins bear a tiny 'H' mintmark below the date to indicate their origins.

Grade: VF/aVF - a rich chocolate brown patina with attractive Very Fine obverse bust details, reverse has a metal flaw to area above Britannia’s head and in front of her knee.

Diameter: 30.8mm. Mintage: 12,560,000. Grade: EF - Extremely Fine with some mint lustre remaining.
1547-1551 Edward VI in the name of Henry VIII silver Southwark mint Groat with roses in forks (S 2404). Obverse: three-quarters crowned bust of King Henry VIII within a beaded circle, legend begins 'HENRIC.' 8'. Reverse: shield of royal arms quartered by a long cross that terminates in roses, 'CIVITAS LONDON' around. Weight: 2.24g. Weight: 25.2mm. Grade: gF - good Fine for this debased issue, flan edge uneven with a small crack.
