After Emmanuel Villanis, a French bronzed spelter figural female bust titled 'Mignon', circa 1900, signed 'C.Blanc', on marble base, 24cm high CONDITION REPORT: Some rubbing to the green patina on the neck, face and shoulder. Some light nicks to the edge of the marble but nothing big. Some light surface scratches but overall appearance ok.
A Victorian carved wax bust of a gentleman, facing sinister, the oval carving within a upholstered mount and gilt frame with bouquet surmount, 45cm high overall (at fault) CONDITION REPORT: The visible areas of the wax appear ok but lightly grubby with many small hairs on the surface. The velvet is discoloured and with some ruffles. Frame with some cracks and the mount to the top has been detached and is now loose.

A collection of 11 bronze Balloon School Royal Engineers medals, obverse with conjoined bust of Edward VII & Queen Alexandra, reverse with airship flying over a town, 32mm diameter, generally extremely fine Produced to commemorate the First Public Flight of the Military Airship 'Nulli Secundus' (Second to none) on 5 October 1907. It was flown by Colonel John Capper and the American aviator Samuel Cody from Farnborough to London. After flying over the city, the airship circled St Paul's Cathedral but strong headwinds forced her to land at Crystal Palace. The flight covered 50 miles and lasted 3 hours, 25 minutes. The medals were presented to various members of the Royal Engineers who were involved in the project or serving at the Balloon School at the time. (11)
