Merovingian gold tremissis of c.500-c.675 A.D., wt. 1.3g., obverse looks to have been struck from a worn and possible rusty die and exhibits a laureate? bust right, with pseudo legend around, the flan looks to be almost correct size for the die, reverse is struck from a die too big for the flan and exhibits a lob ended central cross with V/II or II/A in two quarters depending which way the coin is placed, this within a crude pelleted inner circle and outer pseudo legend, mostly off the flan, at present
JAMES POWELL WHITEFRIARS; a large commemorative goblet for King George V and Queen Mary, the cut bowl set with three oval vignettes set with an engraved profile bust of the king and queen, the initials DM beneath a crown with the dates 1910-1935 above a cut stem and petal foot base, height 23.3cm. CONDITION REPORT: Appears good with no obvious signs of faults, damage or restoration.

Firing cracks visible under nose and also two spherical cracks under his chin. A couple of other firing cracks visible in material. Chips to reverse edge at base. Another spherical crack in hair. Socle base with several chips around top and top rim. Reverse of base stamped COPELAND.
