Each depicted bust-length, the younger man wearing a yellow jacket with gold buttons and white cravat under dark overcoat, the older man in dark attire with a white shirt, his hand on a book, both with Frost & Reed labels verso, 74cm x 62cm and 74.5cm x 61.5cm, in identical gilt gesso frames.Condition report: Both with overall cracking and crazing, especially noticeable on older getleman.This portrait has some light coloured residue marks and wear to varnish on left hand side of canvas. An Art Deco period painted plaster advertising display of a blonde lady holding a telephone, with glass eyes and simulate eyelashes on a shaped black base, 54cm high. Together with another 1920s/30s painted plaster figure of a young boy kneeling, holding a rectangular glass bowl/fish tank, the reverse inscribed, 'OP 375. RD 817899', 52cm high. Andrew Omote Edjobeguo, “The Queen Warrior, Idia", bronze and iron sculpture, 33 × 13 × 15in, 16kg, c. 2020. “The Queen Warrior, Idia” sculpture is a bust representing the Warrior Queen Idia of the Ancient Benin Kingdom of Nigeria. The sculpture is standing on coral beads worn on her neck, on an iron car wheel rim base. Half of the face is represented in bronze while the other side is strip metals. The hairdo represents the Benin Women regalia with quill feathers which represents her victory in the war against the Igala people. The shoulders depicting cyborg proves her strength, intelligence and smartness. Located in Nigeria, UK delicery cost £300.
