dating: late 18th Century provenance: Southern Italy, Triangular, single-and false-edged blade with triple, central groove, tang finely chiselled with a bird and lion on a dark, grained ground, first part of the blade engraved with floral motifs. Ivory grip, finely embossed with a female bust. White metal ring-nut and cap. length 34.5 cm.
dating: late 18th Century provenance: Southern Italy, Straight, triangular blade with double, central groove, a frame on one side with a spiral, brass stave. Base chiselled with a dragon's head and hunting trophy in bass-relief. Disk-knot. Ivory grip, finely embossed with a naked woman's bust. Silver, smooth ring-nut and cap. length 34.5 cm.
dating: Late 19th Century provenance: Europe, Straight, double-edged blade. Fine, in-the-round, bronze grip to effigy Othello and Desdemona, Othello armed with a dagger (no blade). Quillon carved with architectonic elements with a small shell-guard with inscription 'OTHELLO'. Long, bronze scabbard, carved with architectonic elements in relief, effigies of characters and grotesques. Pierced chape, with harpies bust and vase in the center. length 42 cm.
dating: first quarter of the 19th Century provenance: Southern Italy, Strong, single-and false-edged blade with groove on the back, base and part between the back and groove with finest chisels depicting Napoleon, birds, antique bust and floral motifs in bass-relief on a dark ground. Horn grip (very small parts missing), with thin, longitudinal grooves, with silver mounts, engraved with floral motifs (signs of use). length 34.3 cm.

18th century and later Italian (Genoese) ebonised and ivory inlaid cabinet on 19th century stand, having sixteen small drawers each with cast gilt bronze figurehead handles and multiple secret / document drawers .The centre with a turned ivory balustrade over a niche, mounted with a gilt bronze bust enclosing an interior fitted with columns and drawers, above three inlaid panels, two of the panels having première partie and contrapartie inlays depicting caryatids flanking a torch the third with dolphins and foliate scrolls.
