A silver-gilt D-section leaf-shaped hoop with the stalk overlapping the blade, lozengiform panels and other detailing, stamped to the inner face with the lion passant, 'C' within an escutcheon (for 1798), profile bust, maker's mark a script 'ML' in a cartouche. 6.85 grams total, 23mm external, 18.64 internal diameter (1").
