Manchester and Salford Royal Light Horse Volunteers, AE medallion, obverse laureate bust of George III right, G.R. in field, linked border showing hearts and bands surrounds; reverse legend "A Testimony of Gratitude from his fellow townsmen for spirited and Patriotic Services, 1802" (a blank scroll beneath for recipient's name) and "Manchester and Salford Volunteers". A biscuit porcelain portrait bust of Napoleon by Sèvres, dated 1807, French, after the model by Antoine-Denis Chaudet, stamped and inscribed to the front of the base, the back with incised marks for Alexandre Brongniart and Alexandre Brachard, dating its execution to 30 March 1807, 15.5cm wide15cm deep29.5cm high, on a later rouge griotte and ormolu plinth (2)Literature: T Préaud, 'The Sèvres Porcelain Manufactory, Alexander Brogniart and the Triumph of Art and Industry, 1800-1847', 1997, pp. 345-346.This bust is after the marble original by the French sculptor Antoine-Denis Chaudet, and in 1804 the Sèvres factory, under the stewardship of director Alexandre Brongniart, secured the rights to reproduce the image in biscuit porcelain. In 1807, these busts were produced in two sizes, this being the smaller, to be displayed in offices throughout France, as well as being given as diplomatic gifts. Alexandre Brachard (1775-1830) is recorded at having worked at the factory intermittently from 1784-1827. A larger example 'of first magnitude', executed by Brachard on 18 June 1807 is in the Uffizi Gallery in Florence, inv. Pitti Objects of Art 1911 no. 486.Condition ReportSome slight dirt in places, which appears to be able to be removed by a light clean. Some small apparent old chips to the body, some of which appear to have been filled; some of these may also be manufacturing imperfections. One small break and repair to back left corner, with a very small amount of loss. Some further blemishes, including beneath the jaw and to the neck. Some firing cracks to base and interior. Overall appears in fairly good structural condition, with perhaps a small amount of cleaning and cosmetic attention required. General light wear to marble base. Two 1930s rayon crepe tea dresses, one with blousy sleeves, round neck in pink, green and blue and one sleeveless with V-neck in orange, blue and cream, with a swag hemline (2).Additional InformationBoth tea dresses are in very good condition, with no snagging or damage to the crepe.The mainly orange dress is an approximate size 8/10 and measures 32” across the bust and the other dress is slightly larger measuring 34” across the bust and a size 10/12.
A 1930s full length French blue silk fitted sleeveless V-neck dress completely decorated with sequins on black lace, with a fitted bodice top and the A-line full length skirt is embellished with hand stitched sequin foliate appliqué mounts, across bust 32cm, length 150cm.Additional InformationThe overall condition of the dress is very good, with a couple of areas to the back and front of repairable missing sequins, but no damage to the lace. Inside, there is some damage to the blue silk at the back of the dress, at the base of the V.

Unmarked, 26.5cm high.Condition report:Very fine hairline cracks on back of shoulders, arms and back of bust, as images. Slight roughness to back edge of bust but no obvious chips or signs of restoration.
Star Wars - Hasbro - Episode 1. A selection of 6 Star Wars Episode 1 boxed items to include: Obi-Wan Kenobi Interactive Talking Bank with combat actions and original voice. Qui-gon Jinn 3.5" CommTalk figure. Darth Maul Container / Bust by Applause and similar. Items appear to be in excellent condition aside from Obi-Wan's box which has some storage damage and a torn bubble and Darth Maul's box has slight tearing. (This does not constitute a guarantee).
