Vintage Silk Habotai Handmade Wedding Dress Ivory full length dress circa 1950's handmade from heavyweight silk habotai of plain form in medieval revival style. Modest neckline with long, fitted point bracelet sleeves and pearl button decoration. Finished in cream crochet style lace trim to hem, neckline and front. Fitted bodice forming a v- at back flowing into long train. Fastens at back with four faux pearl buttons, side seam zipped fastening, approx size, UK 8. Some staining could be rectified with specialist dry cleaning. Approx dimensions, bust 31 inches, waist 30 inches, length, 54 inches, length from back fastening to end of train, 73 inches.

In fair condition, some tears at joints, water damage along the bottom, not affecting the figure; Also an applique on a black card of a paper figure of a young lady seated holding a bouquet, her seat and dress decorated with ruched red fabric trim to various fabrics and paper appliques, the whole framed and glazed. 31x41cm, in good general condition, and a gilt framed moulded plaque of the bust of a young girl with a songbird. 39c32cm. overall.(3)
