Two Pucci printed silk shift dresses, 1960s, labelled, one of silk jersey in shades of purple and blue, bust 91cm, 36in; the other multi-coloured with checkerboard print to hem, bust 86cm, 34in (2) CONDITION REPORT: Good condition. Purple and blue print has extremely faint perspiration stains to underarm edges but not obvious. Multi-coloured print is good condition, stitching to hem is frayed (minor).
A Pucci purple printed silk jersey shift dress, late 1960s, labelled, with original rope belt with plastic beaded tassels, bust 91cm, 36in; together with two couture chiffon dresses, un-labelled, busts approx 86cm, 34in (4) CONDITION REPORT: Good condition. Pucci has a couple of small pulls in jersey (minor). Slight perspiration stains to underarms interior, not visible to exterior, and rear neck. Two chiffons both have very faint perspiration stains at underarms. Blue chiffon has small, faint watermark to upper bodice.

Slight soiling along inside edge of dress bodice. Two very small holes near hem in chiffon skirt.
A John Galliano dove-grey gabardine shorts-suit, 'Hairclips' collection, Autumn-Winter, 1988-89, with 'John Galliano 1' label, bust 92cm, 36in; together with a green nylon asymmetric top, unlabelled, but from the Courtelle Design Awards collection which was sold alongside 'Hairclips'; and a black draped viscose skirt SS87 (3) CONDITION REPORT: Moth damage to shorts suit, large 0.5x2cm hole above right leg hem, scattering of smaller holes, lacking a button from left cuff, cuff edge frayed and with small holes. Asymmetric top good condition. Skirt - button needs sewing on at waist and is lacking a button otherwise good - nice side drape, slightly faded from cleaning.

Otherwise good condition. Skirt: elastic waistband needs re-doing, hem has been raised approx. 1in, otherwise good.

Brown stain at hem, covered when buttoned and one at right cuff (not immediately noticeable). Print to skirt is very faintly faded (minor).

YSL bustier in good condition.

CONDITION REPORT: Good condition. Faint watermark to front waist panel. Very faint perspiration stains at underarms.

Ties from front bodice have been removed, hem has been cut and shortened, broad buttoned belt at the back is also an alteration. Dress is clean and fresh in appearance and red is bright and even. Good, clean wearable.

Chiffon has a scattering of small damp marks to back bodice and a few small spot stains to front bodice and skirt, one small hole in rear bodice 1x1cm
A rare Ossie Clark canary-yellow moss crepe mini-dress, 1969, labelled and size 14, with pleats to sleeves, skirt and to centre back, pointed collar and attached tie-belt, bust 92cm, 36in, waist 81cm, 32in The dress was originally purchased by the owner in 1969 in a sale for £1.10, marked down from £2.10. CONDITION REPORT: Colour is vibrant. Faint light brown stain to front bodice, 4x0.5cm. A couple of faint marks to rear right cuff. A couple of pulled threads to crepe. Otherwise good.
A John Galliano black gabardine coat/dress, 'Pin-up/Misia Sert' collection, Spring-Summer 1995, burgundy satin Paris label, with Y-shaped pleats which form a peplum at the hips, creating a tapered skirt, double breasted with cord covered buttons and padded shoulders with lingerie-inspired top-stitching, bust approx 97cm, 38in, waist approx 76cm, 30in Galliano's inspiration for this collection included the Paris socialite, hostess and close friend of Coco Chanel - Misia Sert. Models, including Kate Moss and Naomi Campbell, sauntered down the catwalk past lingerie-strewn clothes rails to pose in front of a vintage 1950s classic car. This dress can be seen being modelled in video footage of the show. CONDITION REPORT: Good condition. Missing one button at hem but another spare button sewn to the inside. The owner has folded and tacked over a pleat of fabric on the inside closure edge which is concealed when the dress is buttoned up. Hem may have been altered as there is a strange seam arrangement in the lining on one side. The gaps between the buttons are 19cm apart from the bottom one which is 9.5cm to the hem. Exterior is fresh and good.

Shawl has a couple of faint light brown stains, concealed within the print.
A rare Reard candy striped cotton bikini, circa 1962, labelled, the bottoms with frill to front and elasticated waist, underwired bra-top, bust 86cm, 34in, waist approx 61cm, 24in (2) Bridget Bardot famously wore a near identical white bikini in the 1962 film 'A Very Private Affair', making it one of the most iconic swimsuits of all time and popularizing the style. Louis Réard (1897-1984) is often credited with designing the first bikini in June 1946. It was introduced to the press by nude dancer Micheline Bernardini, as professional models had refused to wear such a skimpy design, and became a huge success. CONDITION REPORT: Good condition. Pink straps slightly faded over the shoulder area (minor). Metal hooks (which fix the shoulder straps) on back strap have been re-sewn (minor).

Belt is creased. Silk at rear bodice across shoulder is speckled from perspiration and not immediately obvious. Hem has been raised. Scattering of pin marks from brooch to left side of collar. Bust 42in, 107cm. Waist 30in, 76cm. Slip has 2 watermarks to lower skirt and small white soil marks, needs re-stitching along zip (minor). Petticoat - perspiration stains at underarms, light brown stains to skirt. One strap needs re-stitching at one end. · Hardy Amies dress - good condition, bust 38in, waist 26in · Black and gold dress - good condition, bust 36in, waist 26in · Black jacket - rear centre back seam needs re-stitching and along rear hem. Front darts have been let out at waist, beading is good. Bust 36in.

A couple of very faint stains to inside of crotch. 3 small moth holes to rear of jacket, one at left sleeve (minor). Lining needs re-stitching at right underarm. Interior left corner of jacket hem has moth holes, slight soiling.

Poor condition. Bust 34in, waist 24in · Sleeveless lace with full skirt - several holes to lace at back bodice, faint perspiration stains at underarms, wear to lace covered buttons. A Christian Dior London ice-blue damask rayon ballgown, late 1950s, labelled and numbered 04718, with deep-V neckline, integral petticoat and corset, with original detached Dior tag, bust 97cm, 38in, waist 58cm, 23in (2) CONDITION REPORT: A few small spot stains to skirt front, faint brown mark below rear zip on skirt, faint brown marks to right side hem area, but largely concealed within the pattern. Hem has been slightly raised. Generally very fresh appearance. Overall good condition.

A Mates at Irvine Sellars navy jersey romper suit, late 1960s, labelled, with contrasting red and white edges, two front breast pockets and button front, bust 92cm, 36in, waist 71cm, 28in 'Mates' of Carnaby St. was founded in the late 1960s by Irvine Sellars, who began his career selling gloves in his father's shop on Petticoat Lane. By the time he sold the business in 1981, there were 90 stores across the UK high-streets. Sellars subsequently moved away from retail and into the property business, most notably and recently developing The Shard, London. CONDITION REPORT: Good condition.
