The silvered chapter ring encompassing a matted centre with subsidiary seconds ring and wedge shaped aperture displaying the days of the week and decorative engraving. The spandrels cast with face masks amidst a mass of lacey foliated scrollwork. The richly patinated case with a caddy top surmounted by brass spired-globe finials and. incorporating fretted panels of scrolling foliage with integral corninthian columns to the door. The long trunk door below with a shaped arch top and moulded edge inlaid with feather & cross-banding reflected on the moulded base. Standing 106 ins (270 cms) in height.
