The piece having come directly from Warren's collection, it is likely that he was responsible for its restoration. There is a printout to the interior of the door with further comments to this effect. The hood appears to have had a fair amount of attention, with several areas of replacement and alteration, if not being entirely associated. Splits, knocks, losses and small areas of repair to veneer of trunk. Glass possibly replaced. Lacking feet. Base moulding appears altered. Door hinges and lock later. Ticks and strikes when wound, however we are unable to guarantee that this represents full working order. We would recommend having it inspected by a professional.
