A William & Mary/Queen Anne period seaweed-marquetry walnut longcase clock, the eight day five pillar movement movement with 12in square brass dial, Isaac Papavoine, Dukes Court, London (fl 1680-1710), silvered chapter ring, subsidiary seconds dial and square date aperture, gilt cast brass spandrels with putti supporting crowns, the seaweed marquetry-inlaid walnut case with moulded cornice above ebonised pilasters with giltwood mounts, long cockbeaded door beneath with brass framed lenticle glass and richly inlaid with mythical birds, beasts and grotesques, on box base with later plinth, 220 cm high Condition Report movement and case of conforming age, although we cannot guarantee the movement and case are original to each other, the movement complete and original with many signs of maintenance, the case showing signs of a reduction in height, the movement cheeks reduced in height, the backboard framed in later oak at hood height, the base with internal reinforcing/joining piece indicating top and bottom have been apart/repaired - consigned privately from lon term ownership
A 19TH CENTURY PINE CASED LONGCASE CLOCK with eight day movement, painted dial, subsidiary dial and date aperture, signed B:Michael Rustell, with automaton movement, the case with arch pediment top and columns standing on a plinth base, 204cm high x 44cm wide, the dial measures 30cm x 41cm (with weights and pendulum)
An oak eight day longcase clock, 19th century, the brass arch top dial plate detailed 'George Avenell Farnham', with subsidiary seconds dial, date aperture and two train movement over a waisted trunk, with circular glazed pendulum aperture to the door, 230 cm high, (brass/lead pendulum and two brass cased lead weights).
For Restoration: an 18th century longcase clock, the painted face with floral spandrels, Roman numerals and inscribed 'Thomas Fowle East Grinstead', within an oak case of typical form CONDITION REPORT: Case requires restoration. Working order unknown but doubtful, with one weight and pendulum.
