Oak cased longcase clock, case with cavetto cornice, turned columns, long door, bracket feet, 31cm square brass dial signed Donisthorp, with date aperture, eight day movement, one weight (of two), height 204cm.Condition report:There are parts of the pendulum but the rod is terribly bent and distorted and the cradle spring is crudely secured by a wooden clothes peg. The pendulum bob remains but presently detached and heavily distorted with dents. One weight present. A key is with it but not contemporary to the movement. The door itself is present but without any hinges or pins. The movement appears complete but rusting and obviously needs a major service. The only engraving to the dial plate is "DONISTHORP" to the roundel below XII. Hands are rusted.
