A walnut and marquetry-inlaid longcase clock, the dial bearing the later signature 'Joseph Knibb, Londoni' The long trunk door inlaid with six floral panels on an ebony ground, with similar plinth, the 10.25 in square brass dial with winged cherub head spandrels, silvered Roman and Arabic chapter ring with five-minute numerals within the minute band, and 'Knibb'-style half-hour marks, subsidiary seconds dial and chamfered date aperture to the matted centre, bearing a signature along the lower edge, the movement previously with bolt and shutter maintaining power, with six latched and knopped pillars, anchor escapement and outside countwheel strike on a bell, pendulum, door key and two weights, 207cm high Clock has been restored as mentioned in the description.
