The corners embellished with scrolling floriate gilt spandrels. The hood having a key design moulded frieze above a glazed door with shaped brass H-hinges & flanked by columns. The case with a double arch-topped long trunk door and canted sides enriched with stop-fluting. Measuring 84 ins (213.5 cms) in height.

A Fine 18th Century Chinoiserie Lacquered Longcase Clock. The eight day movement having a 12 inch (30.5 cm) brass dial with a silvered chapter ring encircling a silvered centre signed John Clark, Bury (Bury St Edmonds, circa 1770) and incorporating a subsidiary seconds dial, a calendar aperture and finely engraved foliate embellishments. The arch having a silvered Strike/Silent dial flanked by pierced gilt mounts, with spandrels adorning the corners. The hood having a pagoda pediment painted with floral sprays, and surmounted by three gilt spired-ball finials. The arched cornice above two decorative columns flanking the glazed door. The impressive long arched top trunk door edged in moulding and intricately decorated with a chinoiserie figural scene; continued on the base, and highlighted in gilding. 101 ins (257 cms) high, 19 ins (48 cms) wide, 9¼ ins (23.5 cms) deep.

An 18th Century 30 Hour Oak Longcase Clock, Circa 1720 of good colour & patination. The single handed 11 inch (28 cm) square brass dial inscribed W.Hough, Wrexham along the chapter ring encircling a matted centre engraved with scrolling foliate sprays surrounding a calendar aperture & having decorative brass spandrels to the corners. The thirty hour movement striking the hour on a bell. The hood carved with the initials M D K 1740, and having turned columns flanking the glazed door. The arch-topped slender trunk door edged in applied D-mouldings. Standing 75½ ins (192 cms) high, 17½ ins (44.5 cms) wide and 11½ ins (29 cms) deep.
