A late 18th Century elm cased thirty-hour longcase clock by Thomas Sharp, Stratford, the case with square hood and 8½" brass dial with decorated spandrels, 189cm high/see illustration Condition Report: The dial has for obsolete holes on the reverse it is therefore probably associated, the seat board with crude restorations and the dial aperture crudely cut but original. The movement needs attention as the winding gear teeth are worn and the weight habitually pulls the chain through the winding wheels other than acceptable scratches, small splits and old worm holes, the clock case is in acceptable condition.

A George IV mahogany and inlaid longcase clock, possible Anglo-Irish, painted dial, with a moon phase lunette, subsidiary second dial and date dial, spandrels painted with flowers, the dial centre with birds, eight-day two chain movement, the case inlaid with floral tendrils, flower urn, shells and rosettes, pendants and spandrels, swan-neck pediment, wide bodied door with Gothic arches, flanked by fluted baluster columns, height 250cms.
A longcase clock, the 30.5 cm arch square silvered dial signed John Pollard, Plymo Dock, with Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds dial and calendar aperture, the arch with HIGH WATER AT PLYMO DOCK and phase of the moon, fitted an eight day movement, in an inlaid mahogany case, 214 cm high Condition report Report by GH Seat board probably not original and cheeks have been chocked by 2 to 3 mm on both sides. The movement does not appear to match the face, the movement is marked T. Pyke, Bridgwater, Somerset. The front of the movement appears to have been at some point, chopped and modified to accommodate the face. The high water at Plymouth Dock dial does not appear to be connected to anything. Also looking at the movement, the clock does not appear to have been used for sometime. The fit of the face into the hood is reasonably good but quite possibly they were not intended for one another. Parts of the face appear to have been covered in a yacht varnish like substance in order to protect the silvering. The case itself is in reasonable condition, with some possible areas of restoration and chips, scratches and gouges commensurate with age. Two weights, a pendulum and a key are present but no winding key.
