An 18th Century oak longcase clock by John Mercer of Hythe, the 11ins square brass dial with wide brass chapter ring with Roman and Arabic numerals (formerly silvered), the matted dial centre engraved with a bird in flight and with turned aperture, to the brass framed thirty hour movement with outside locking plate striking on a bell, contained in plain oak case with moulded caddy top with turned gilt finials and plain turned pillars to hood, the plain trunk door with circular brass framed lenticule, on plinth base, 83ins high (including finials) Note: John Mercer recorded working as a clocksmith in Hythe pre 1736 - 1779, he was also Mayor of Hythe 1756, 1768, 1772, 1777 and 1779
An inlaid mahogany longcase clock, the 12ins arched brass dial signed "Charles Horwood of Bristol", the wide silvered chapter ring with Roman and Arabic numerals, matted dial centre with subsidiary seconds dial, the arch showing phases of the moon worded "High Water at Bristol Quay", to the later three train movement striking and chiming on nine bells, contained in associated mahogany case banded in satinwood, the hood with narrow moulded cornice and plain turned pillars, the shaped trunk door inlaid in marquetry with shell, leaf scroll and bellflower swag ornament, on conforming plinth base, 86ins high Note: Charles Horwood recorded working Bristol 1762. Died 1787.

( MARMADUKE STORR, IS BELIEVED TO HAVE BEEN THE SON OF A YORKSHIRE CLOCKMAKER WITH THE SAME NAME, HE WAS A WATCH AND CLOCKMAKER OF FINE REPUTE. A late 18th Century longcase clock with green painted and Chinoiserie lacquered detail, the caddy shaped top over a later associated 8-day movement with an 11.75 inch brass broken arch dial, with silvered chapter ring, subsidiary seconds dial and date aperture, signed 'David Bowen, Swansea', the trunk door detailed with buildings, a bridge and figures within garden scenes, all over a plinth base, height 219cm.

An 18th century longcase clock, brass dial inscribed 'Jno Williamson Bold', width 31cm, eight day movement with seconds and date aperture, Roman numerals and pierced mouldings, the hood with eagle finials, broken swan neck pediment and four fluted columns, cross banded and marquetry inlaid walnut case with fluted quarter columns, base with ogee bracket feet, with two weights and pendulum, height 236cm.Condition: Dents to finials on hood, minor split under right scroll on hood, glass ok, columns good, general surface wear to brass dial, hands slightly bent, no major damage to dial, natural splits with age along inlay, some splits to cross banding bottom of door, various minor old scuffs and scratches throughout, back left foot detached but present amongst box of bits to include pendulum, weights and winding key, door key also present.
An early 18th century figured walnut longcase clock having ogee pediment, the brass dial with seconds and inscribed 'Ashton Tidswell', with cherub mask and foliate scroll spandrels, filve pillar striking and chiming movement, the pendulum door with bead and cavetto border, crossbanded panel to the base, on plinth base, 196cm high Condition ReportThere is some signs of woodworm on the backboard as well as split on the top. There is wear at the back on the bottom. There is a chip of wood missing on the front and a couple of scratches. See attached images
