We believe clock case, dial and movement all belong. Case with some restoration and water damage. Boxbase later or re-veneered. The whole case with minor veneer patch repairs. Seat board with repair. Cheeks rebuilt. Back board varnished. Movement and dial good, grubby but appears all original. With weights and pendulum. Old Father Time automata is loose.

An Edwardian mahogany tube chiming longcase clock, the carved caddy pediment above arched door set with silvered chapter ring with Arabic numerals, strike/silent switch, chime/silent, and Westminster, Whittington, and St Michael chime dial, subsidiary seconds hand, and plaque inscribed "Russells Ltd, 18 Church Street, Liverpool" above glazed door showing three brass weights and the tubes flanked by fluted pilasters to a stepping bracket base, height approx 245cm. CONDITION REPORT: A few light scuffs to the case which needs polishing. Hands misshaped to dial. Plinth base is slightly different in colour.
GILLOWS; a rare mahogany longcase clock, the hood with broken swan neck pediment above arched dial set with rolling moon, silvered chapter ring, with foliate engraved swags, and central sweeping seconds hand, housing an eight day movement inscribed "William Holland, Chester", above long arched door, quarter fluted pilasters to a plinth base and bracket feet, the case stamped "Gillows", height 260cm. William Holland is registered as being active in Chester c.1791-1797.
An early 18th century fruitwood longcase clock, the 10inch square brass dial signed 'Thos Steward, Barnett', and engraved 'B, D*M' below the chapter ring, single hand 30hour movement, female scroll mask spandrels, outside countwheel striking, square section pillars and dial feet, case possibly associated 201cm (78in) one hood pilaster later, high skirting to plinth. Untested.
