CONDITION REPORT: Movement looks well maintained, although movement board is missing, no guarantees on working order.
A George III oak and mahogany banded eight day longcase clock, the 11¾ in dial inscribed 'John Bullock, Bps Waltham', 206.5cm high, with weights and pendulum. Condition Report: Missing piece of moulding below hood on left side. New base board below movement. Part of back board at top broken off. Crack to rear edge of case on left side - 1/2 of side. Cas has scuffing particularly on right side. Some wear to silvered chapter ring, plating rubbed. Worm damage. Some reduction in height. Damage near hinge on glass door. Crack in front lower case.
A good George III mahogany and ebony strung 8 day longcase clock, by Plowman, Chichester, the 12 in silvered dial with moonphase arch, 220cm high, with weights and brass faced pendulum, with winding key. Condition Report: Dial has some wear and scratching. Door has a slight warp. Case looks to have been restored recently. Glass has a small crack at 12 O'clock. Some scratching to case.
