A Mahogany Longcase Clock, 12" arch brass dial, signed William Kipling, London, with subsidiary seconds and strike/silent mechanism, 220cm high, later caseWith weights and pendulum.Case surfaces are faded. Hood with cracks to the sides. Case trunk door is bowed and chips to the corners, pieces missing to the outer edges. Base front panel with restoration to the bottom right hand corner and the panel is springing away from the main case. Later case circa 1800. Dial and movement circa 1730. Dial is clean. Movement crutch is bent. Movement not working.

The silvered arched brass dial signed W Hambly Falmouth, with an engraved eagle atop a Tempus Fugit banner to the arch, above a subsidiary seconds dial and calendar niche, with a blind fret cut hood and crossbanded door, height 228cm.
