A late 18th Century eight-day longcase clock movement, the brass dial signed John Dingley, London, in an associated Chinoiserie case, 208cm high/Provenance: The Down House, Redmarley Condition Report: No ball finials, gilded decoration at the sides of both case and hood faded. Front condition good, base of trunk with mildew mould. 208cm high. No door warping. Top pillars separated from movement. Hour hand broken also door hinge and aperture opening rubbed at the base of the hood. Pendulum and winding key present, but no door key. This clock has not been running for many years.

A mid-18th century inlaid oak eight day longcase clock by George Baddely of Newport, Shropshire, the circular 13in. brass Roman dial with Arabic outer minute track, subsidiary seconds at noon and date dial at six, pierced steel scroll hands, signed 'Baddely Newport', within an oak and fruitwood case, the flared dentil inlaid pediment over blind fret frieze on fluted columns, the mahogany banded trunk with blind fret panel over a barber's pole arch inlaid door and fluted pilasters, the base with applied serpentine panel and moulded plinth foot, 77½in. (197cm.) high, with a later plinth with bun feet.
An early 19th century provincial oak, mahogany and marquetry eight day longcase clock, the painted arched dial with Roman and Arabic numerals, subsidiary seconds dial at noon and crescent date dial at six, the spandrels painted with scenes emblematic of the abolition of slavery, in a mahogany cross banded oak case with swan neck pediment, fluted columns and pilasters and marquetry paterae inlaid to the trunk door and base, on shaped bracket feet, movement restored in the mid-1990s.
