CONDITION REPORT: Damage and repairs to fretwork, dial case and movement are associated. Case is polished.
A late 18th century oak and mahogany crossbanded eight day longcase clock, the broken swan neck pediment above arched dial inscribed 'Henry Doward Widnes' with Roman numerals to the chapter ring, subsidiary seconds and flanked by fluted pilasters above a long arched door and plinth base, height 230cm. CONDITION REPORT: Dial and movement have been cleaned. Spandels have been replaced, repairs to the capitols, normal wear to the case, repaired split to the door.
An early 19th century oak and mahogany crossbanded eight day longcase clock with broken swan neck pediment above painted dial later inscribed 'Tho. Pearce, Chard', with short door and plinth base, height 197cm. CONDITION REPORT: Dial repainted, new woodwork noticed which are the two freestanding pillars either side of the dial, the dial movement and case are associated, crude repairs to veneers which have been replaced, splits to the plinth base and the trim around the base of the plinth is a modern addition.

A longcase clock, the 26 cm square brass dial signed J N O Worsfold, Dorking, fitted a 30 hour movement, in an oak case, 198 cm high Condition report Report by RBVery much in a market fresh condition, requiring repair, restoration and TLC.The two base parts are missing to the rear columns, the trunk door is locked, without a key, the hood door had its glass pinned, rather than putty, the base has had some re-construction, which is easily visible.Overall, relatively pleasing country made oak long case clock.

Movement is spring wound. Strikers do not connect properly as they should with the gongs. There do not appear to be any gongs missing. There are six in total. The movement does not sit very flush and is quite far forward on the cheek boards, suggesting it may well not be original to the case. A late 17th century walnut and beech marquetry inlaid longcase clock. A stepped caddy pediment with Doric columns and long door with glass bull's eye to view pendulum. The entire case is inlaid with an intricate foliate design. The brass dial has brass spandrels and a silvered chapter ring with Roman and Arabic numerals, subsidiary dial and date aperture. Signed Rich: Fennel Kinsington (Kensington). Eight-day two train movement. 86.5 x 18.5in.
