The painted dial is crazed. The subsidiary seconds dial hand is missing and there is paint damage in the arch at the right hand and left hand side See illustration The clock comes with pendulum and weights. The clock is currently not running, and is dirty. Movement is dirty. The case requires re-polishing and the trunk door is warped.
A longcase clock, the 28 cm square brass dial, having Roman numerals, signed Taylor Bridgnorth 606, fitted a 30 hour movement striking on a bell, in an extensively carved oak case, 207 cm high See illustration Condition report Report by RB Very much in a market fresh condition, the matt centre has some sort of gilt looking paint to it, the silvered dial is with awful varnish which makes it look brass and the spandrels have been painted to match the centre. The movement is slightly loose on its (later) seat board. The case, no glass to the hood door, carving all Victorian, the whole of the backboard has been replaced at some point, modern trunk door lock, hinges weak. Overall now requiring some work, with key, pendulum and single weight.

In a fairly original state, the hood with oval pierced sides slightly damaged. The silvered chapter ring slightly discoloured, the case generally good, with a few knocks and marks, with three brass cased weights and a pendulum, from a local client moving house.

Wood is showing signs of splitting at the joins and some water marks. The two front finals are missing.
