The style of the chapter ring and overall finish of the movement would suggest London work of the period.

Probably Eleanor Harvey who is recorded in Baillie G H Watchmakers & Clockmakers of the World as working in Brentwood after the death of her husband John in 1772.

Henry Jenkins is recorded in Britten F J Old Clocks and Watches & their Makers as working from 68. Aldergate St Cheapside 1756-83 maker of curious astronomical and other clocks.

A Joseph Quarman is recorded in Moore A J The Clockmakers of Somerset 1650-1900. as working 1729-46 however as this clock dates to a later period it is probably by a later maker of the same name whose exact dates appear to be unknown.
