A George III oak and mahogany crossbanded eight day longcase clock, the brass Roman numeral dial signed 'Butler Bolton', with date aperture and subsidiary seconds dial, with broken swans neck pediment and trunk with blind fret detailing and fluted corner pilasters, on later and shortened and later bracket feet, 214cm H CONDITION REPORT: The glass to the hood is cracked. The trunk door is not warped but it does have an old crack. General age wear patina to the surface throughout, some losses and old chips here and there. Small loss to the bottom right corner of the door and a small but poor repair to the bottom edge of the door just to the left of this. Some losses also to the flowers as part of the scroll pediment. The plinth base is later and short in height. The clock is not currently running.

Jacob Gelyn of Amsterdam, an 18th century Dutch walnut and marquetry eight-day Longcase Clock, broken arch dial with moon phase mechanism and date arch above a large silver dial with Roman numerals and subsidiary seconds hand, date aperture and days of the week aperture, the silvered chapter ring signed cornered by four individual gilt metal spandrels modelled as cherubic-style figures, shaped trunk door with pendulum viewing glass and raised on outset block-style feet, the whole of the clock case covered profusely in floral-style marquetry, with weights and pendulum, 237cm high CONDITION REPORT: For restoration and is non-running (see images), In our opinion the dial face mask does fit within the hood and the movement and dial are not married they look original. It looks like the back legs on both left and right are missing and the clock is leaning against the wall for balance. The door is also completely away from the main body.
