A Georgian Irish mahogany eight day longcase clock The broken swan-neck pediment above a lion mask and a band of scrolling foliate carving, the brass dial with twin winding aperture, subsidiary seconds dial and date aperture, inscribed Alex Gordon, Dublin, the case with an arched door flanked by quartered columns, standing on ogee bracket feet. Approximately 235 cm high. CONDITION REPORTS: Some chipping/losses, some repairs, spandrel missing to centre of pediment, weights and pendulum lacking, general wear, not guaranteed in working order.
