An Oak Eight Day Longcase Clock, signed Henry Brownbill, Leeds, circa 1780, broken arch pediment, fluted columns, mahogany crossbanded trunk door flanked by inset fluted pilasters, inside trunk door with a Brian Loomes retail label, 13-inch arched brass dial with a silvered Roman and Arabic chapter ring, dial centre with subsidiary seconds, date aperture and finely engraved with scroll work and a central seascape scene depicting a mermaid beside a galleon, rolling moonphase in the arch and signed above, four pillar movement with an anchor escapement and rack striking on a bell, 227cm high see illustration 24.02.17, Pediment with small chips to the edges in parts, front corner of the hood with a chip, plinth with scratches in parts, movement with the rack spring missing, otherwise the movement looks complete.

AN OAK EIGHT DAY LONGCASE CLOCK, ISAAC BOOT, SUTTON [IN ASHFIELD] C1760-70 the 12inch brass dial with matted centre and engraved with flowers flanking the date sector and signature tablet, having steel hands and rococo spandrels, the case inlaid with two paterae, with pendulum and lead weights, 205cm h Isaac Boot was born in 1728, son of the clockmaker John Boot. Boot senior had been apprenticed in 1718 to Thomas Finch of Mansfield and founded a dynasty of clockmakers who worked in the town throughout the rest of the 18th c. Three of his children, William, Elizabeth and John Junior made clocks, but the present clock appears to be apparently the only known example signed by Isaac. ++In good restored condition and working order

Charles Wall, London: a mid 18th Century longcase clock, the 12in. brass dial with inscription to the arch, together with strike silent dial, subsidiary seconds and date aperture below, fitted eight day striking movement with anchor escapement, the chinoiserie case with arched pediment and brass ball finials above the arched glazed panelled door and pilasters, arched panelled door to the trunk decorated with scenes of figures, buildings and a deer, further animal decoration to the base, 17 1/2 x 92in. high.
Marshall, Greenside: a 19th Century mahogany longcase clock, the 13in. white painted dial decorated with hunting scenes to the arch and spandrels, with roman numerals and subsidiary seconds and date dials, the eight day striking movement with anchor escapement, arched glazed panelled door flanked by turned pilasters, crossbanded panels below with arched panelled flanked by further turned pilasters, raised on a plinth base, 21 x 82in. high.

Hume, Durham: a 19th Century oak longcase clock, with 13in. arched brass dial with roman numerals and subsidiary seconds dial, decorated with ornate spandrels, the eight day striking movement with anchor escapement, the case with arched glazed panelled door flanked by pilasters, plain drawer to the trunk, raised on a plinth base, 19 x 79 1/2in. high.
An early 19th Century oak and mahogany banded longcase clock, the 30in. circular brass dial fitted date aperture and subsidiary seconds dial, inscribed with maker (indistinct) 'Uttoxeter', with eight day movement and anchor escapement striking on a single bell, the case with circular glazed panelled door under a swan neck pediment, flanked by fluted brass mounted pilasters, the panelled door and base carved with flowers, urns and fruiting vines, flanked by fluted pilaster, raised on a plinth base, 19 1/2 x 80in. high.
