British Wall Clock with Fusee Mechanism and Additional Clockwork Components A vintage British wall clock marked "M.A.S. LTD" and "LONDON" on its enamelled dial. Notable features include a polished mahogany circular case (approx. 25–35 cm in diameter), glass face, Roman numerals, distinctive bulbous and straight-shaped hands, and a "railroad track" style minute division. A hinge mechanism on the case enables access for winding or adjustments. Likely manufactured between the 1930s and 1950s, the utilitarian design aligns with institutional use. Accompanying this clock are several visible inner workings of antique or vintage mechanical devices. These include; 1. Conical fusee mechanisms with helical grooves and accompanying gears consistent with 18th- or 19th-century timekeeping precision, potentially from longcase clocks or marine chronometers. 2. A polished brass pendulum bob, approx. 5–10 cm in diameter, with a threaded adjustment mechanism, typical of period pendulum clocks. 3. Brass components suggestive of music boxes or precision instruments, identified by perforated drums, levers, and top plates. Also present is a rectangular mechanical wooden box segment with brass hinges, a latch, and inset panel door, indicative of a 19th- or early 20th-century function. An additional tape measure (marked "13–17 inches" with calibration details) offers contextual scale.
