Oak longcase clock, architectural pediment, the hood with engaged columns, long door, bracket feet, eleven inch square brass dial with seraphim spandrels, silvered chapter ring, subsidiary date aperture, signed Richard Hackett, Harringworth, thirty hour movement striking on a bell, height 211cm.Condition report:There is rubbing and losses to the wood on and just below the hood. One of the columns on the hood is pulling away. The finial is attached by blu-tack. There is a small vertical crack to the left-hand-side panel. The hinges have been replaced. There are cracks and evidence of woodworm to the base. One of the cogs has been detached. The weights and pendulum are present. Please see additional uploaded images.
